Hunebed Centre Borger
Near the largest hunebed in Drenthe, you will also find the Hunebedcentrum, where you will learn all about these great boulders. Around 3,400 years before Christ, the Funnel Beaker people built the dolmens as beautiful graves for their dead. Inside and outside (prehistoric park) you can learn all about them. You will learn, for instance, how these huge stones were moved. The Hunebed Centre is also an Expedition Gate of Geopark the Hondsrug.
